WHITE — Mary Fink White , age 77, of Spring Lake and Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, September 8, 2003, in Baldwin, Mich. She was born December 30, 1925 to Earle W. and Nina (Gabel) Fink in Mishawaka, Ind. Mrs. White moved to the Spring Lake area from Grand Rapids 12 years ago. She had been active in the Junior League and a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Her interests included fly-fishing and needlework. Survivors include her husband, Winsor D. White ; one daughter, Melissa White of Costa Rica; two sons, Winsor White III of Boulder, Colo., and Phineas White of the Philippines; three grandchildren, Zoe, Leila and Maxmous; and her brother, John Fink of South Bend, Ind. A private memorial service for Mrs. White will be held at a later date. Those desiring a memorial are asked to consider the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home of Spring Lake.
