Marvin L. Katterjohn, 97, of Brownsboro Hills Nursing Home, died there at 4:50 p.m. Saturday.
He was a native of Henderson and a member of Henderson First Methodist Church. He served as a member of Kentucky Parole Board and Department of Welfare. He retired as president and general manager of the Kentucky Box & Crate Co. in Henderson in 1944.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Henry M. Johnson; a son, Charles M. Katterjohn of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, with entombment in Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville, Ind.
Visitation at the funeral home will be 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to charity.
