Notes for Charles Marvin KATTERJOHN
Charles M. Katterjohn lived with his family in a number of places. He was born and raised in Henderson, Kentucky. He attended college at Vanderbilt in Nashville and the University of Pennsylvania. After his marriage, they lived in Chicago at least until 1935. His first son was born in New Orleans. In 1940 they were living in Georgia. The family was apparently in North Carolina when his wife died in 1991.

HENDERSON - Charles Katterjohn , 86, of Henderson died Wednesday, June 18, 1997, at his home. He owned and operated a woodworking business and was a member of First United Methodist Church and Henderson Rotary Club. He attended Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania and Centre College and graduated with a law degree from Vanderbilt University. His wife, Cathran Katterjohn, died in 1991.
Survivors include two sons, John Marvin Katterjohn and William "Bill" Katterjohn, both of Owensboro; a daughter, Anne Gibbs of Henderson; and three grandchildren.
Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home in Henderson. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson. Visitation is after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St. Anthony's Hospice. Memorial contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home.

HENDERSON, Ky. -- Charles Katterjohn , 86, died Wednesday afternoon at home.
