Mrs. M. Weitkamp Of Holland Is Taken By Death
Mrs. Mary Jennie Weitkamp, 77, died at 12:45 Saturday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Albert Tormohlen of Holland.
Mrs. Weitkamp, the widow of August Weitkamp, had been in failing helath for almost a year.
She was born on October 23, 1873, the daughter of Ernest Werremeyer and Louise Schulte Werremeyer.
She was married on October 12, 1897, to August Weitkamp, who preceded her in death in 1948.
Surviving are three daughter, Mrs. Otto Todrank and Mrs. Albert Tormohlen of Holland and Mrs. John Ehrensperger of Indianapolis; a son, Arthur, of Holland; one brother, B.W. [sic] Werremeyer of Cleveland; three sisters, Mrs. Albert Fenneman of Evansville, Mrs. Arthur Johnston [sic] of LaPorte, Ind., and Mrs. Harry Tormohlen of Huntingburg; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The remains will be taken at 4 o’clock this afternoon from the Finke and Hass Funeral Home in Huntingburg to the Albert Tormohlen residence at Holland. Funeral services will be held in the Holland Methodist Church at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon, CST, with Rev. Carl Allinger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

HUNTINGBURG, Ind., April 28 – (Special) – Mrs. Mary J. Weitkamp, 77, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Tormohlen, Holland Saturday.
Other survivors are children, Arthur, Holland, Mrs. Otto Todrank and Mrs. John Ehrensperger, Indianapolis. One brother, D.W. Werremeyer, Cleveland, and sisters, Mrs. Albert Fenneman, Evansville; Mrs. Arthur Johnston [sic], Laport [sic], and Mrs. Harry Tormohler [sic].
The body is at the Finke-Mass [sic] funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Methodist church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
