Obituary:
HINDLE--In Paterson, on Tuesday, March 3, 1925, Hester Louisa, widow of the late John H. Hindle, in her 81st year. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, March 6, from the residence of her sister, Mrs. A.W. Zabriskie, 168 Seventeenth avenue, 2:30 o'clock p.m. Interment at Cedar Lawn.

HINDLE--In Paterson, on Tuesday, March 3, 1925, Hester Louisa, widow of the late John H. Hindle, in her eighty-first year. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral, on Friday, March 6 from the residence of her sister, Mrs. A.W. Zabriskie, 168 Seventeenth avenue, at 2:30 o'clock p.m. Interment at Cedar Lawn.

TRIBUTE IS PAID TO MRS. HINDLE
Relatives and friends paid the last tribute to the memory of Mrs. Hester L. Hindle, the widow of John H. Hindle, at the funeral this afternoon, at the home of her sister, Mrs. A.W. Zabriskie, 168 Seventeenth avenue, at 2:30 o'clock. Many flowers told of the esteem in which she was held for many years.
The service was in the care of the Rev. A.C. Sawtelle, of the Second Presbyterian Church, where Mrs. Hindle had been a member for a long time. Assisting the minister was Mrs. Laura Lee Barbour, who song [sic] "The Homeland" and "Abide With Me." Interment was made in the Hindle plot at Cedar Lawn, at the convenience of the family.

IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN.

I, Hester L. Hindle, of the City of Paterson, in the County of Passaic and State of New Jersey, being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament.

FIRST: It is my will and I do hereby order and direct that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease.

SECOND: I give, devise and bequeath after paying all my debts as above stated, the undivided one-half of my estate, real, personal or mixed, which shall belong to or be owned by me at the time of my death to my son, Frank L. Hindle.

THIRD: I give and bequeath to my grandson, Frank Lawton Hindle, son of Frank L. Hindle, if he be living at the time of my death, the sum of five thousand dollars.

FOURTH: I give and bequeath to my granddaughter, Dorothy Hindle, daughter of Frank L. Hindle, if she be living at the time of my death, the sum of two thousand dollars together with all my diamonds and jewelry of every kind and nature.

FIFTH: I give and bequeath to my sister, Margaret Emma Zabriskie if she be living at the time of my death, the sum of ten thousand dollars.

SIXTH: I give and bequeath to my niece, Lottie Cunningham, daughter of my brother George W. Cunningham, if she be living at the time of my death the sum of one thousand dollars.

SEVENTH: I give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, of whatsoever the same may consist and wheresoever situate, which shall belong to or be owned by me at the time of my death, to my grandsons, John H. Hindle and Fred C. Hindle, sons of Charles B. Hindle deceased, share and share alike.

EIGHTH: I hereby appointing my son, Frank L. Hindle, sole executor of this my last will and testament and direct that he be not required to give bonds as such executor.

NINTH: I hereby revoke any and all former wills by me made.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF: I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirtieth day of January, nineteen hundred and twenty.

The foregoing will, consisting of two typewritten pages, was signed sealed, published and declared by the said Hester L. Hindle, to be her last will and testament, in the presence of us, who were present at the same time and who, at her request, in her presence and the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

Codicil: IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN:

I, Hester L. Hindle, of the City of Paterson, in the County of Passaic and State of New Jersey, do hereby declare the present writing to be a codicil to my last Will and Testament bearing date on or about the thirtieth day of January, A.D. 1920.

FIRST: Whereas by the second paragraph of my said last will and testament, I gave and bequeathed unto my son, Frank L. Hindle, the undivided one-half of my estate and he having since died, now I do hereby revoke the said legacy to my son, Frank L. Hindle as set forth in the said second paragraph of my said last will and testament.

SECOND: In addition to the sum of ten thousand dollars specifically bequeathed to my sister, Margaret Emma Zabriskie, in and by the fifth paragraph of my said last will and testament, I do hereby give and bequeath to my said sister, Margaret Emma Zabriskie, for her care and kindnesses to me during the latter part of my life, the further sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.)

THIRD: I do hereby revoke the seventh paragraph of my said last will and testament wherein I disposed of all the rest residue and remainder of my estate and do hereby give, devise and bequeath all the said rest, residue and remainder of my estate, of whatsoever the same may consist or wheresoever situate, which shall belong to or be owned by me at the time of my death, to my four grandchildren, Frank Lawton Hindle, Dorothy Hindle, children of my son, Frank L. Hindle, and John H. Hindle and Fred C. Hindle, sons of my son Charles B. Hindle, to be equally divided among my said four grandchildren, share and share alike.

FOURTH: I do hereby revoke the eighth paragraph of my said last will and testament, wherein and whereby I appoint my son, Frank L. Hindle, sole executor of my said last will and testament, and do hereby appoint my grandson, Fred C. Hindle, sole executor of my last will and testament and direct that he be not required to give bonds as such executor.

FIFTH: I do hereby ratify and confirm my said last will and testament in all other respects, particularly as to the first, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and ninth paragraphs of my said last will and testament.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixteenth day of February, nineteen hundred and twenty-five.
