MCLEOD, Mrs. Elizabeth Sheldon
Of 952 Oak Hill Drive on Friday, October 20, 1972. Arrangements by Smith-Fudge Funeral Home. No calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 1972 at Grace Church. The Rev. Samuel Hale officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to be made to the Dialysis Fund of the Arnot-Ogden Memborial Hospital or the Grace Church Memorial Fund. Survived by husband, John M. McLeod; two sons, John M. McLeod Jr. and Bruce S. McLeod of Elmira; a grandson, John M McLeod III and one brother, J. Gregory Sheldon of Allentown, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. McLeod was formerly active in the Girl Scouts, Community Chests, American Red Cross, Junior league. She was a past Directoress of the Grace Church Altar guild.

Mrs. John M. McLeod
Mrs. Elizabeth McLeod of Elmira, N.Y., formerly of Allentwon, died Friday in Arnot-Ogden Memorial Hospital, Elmira. She was the wife of John M. McLeod.
She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James H. Sheldon of Allentown.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, John Jr., and Bruce, both of Elmira; a brother Gregory of Allentown, and a grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Grace Episcopal Church, Elmira. There will be no calling hours.
The Smith-Fudge Funeral Home Elmira, is making arrangements.

Sheldon – McLeod

Announcement has been made by Mr. and Mrs. James H. Sheldon of 277 Park Avenue of the engagement of their daughter, Miss Elizabeth Sheldon, to John M. McLeod, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur B. McLeod of Elmira.

Miss Sheldon is a graduate of Bennett School, Milbrook. Her fiancé prepared at Roxbury School and was graduated in 1934 from Yale, where he was a member of Chi Psi.
