Another Pioneer Resident Passes
Following a long period of invalidism Mrs. Margaret Fink, widow of the late Morgan D. Fink, died Sunday evening at her home in Bremen of a complication of ailments incident to her advanced age. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the home, conducted by Rev. W. T. Vogel, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran church. Interment was in the Bremen cemetery.
Margaret Vollnagle was born in Columbiana county, O., April 30, 1844. In 1863, during the Civil war, she came with her parents to this community, which has been her home for the sixty years since then. Nov. 9, 1865, she was united in marriage with Morgan D. Fink, who died several years ago. Three children were born to them - Florence E. Weston, Pearl Earnest and Clayton Edwin Fink, the latter deceased. There are eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fink would have been 79 years old in April.
