Obituary notes for Norman J. BOYER

March 4 – Norman J. Boyer, 75, a well known and prosperous farmer of this township, died at 2 o'clock Tuesday morning after an illness of two weeks with stomach trouble. Deceased was born on Crane street, Canfield township, Oct. 10, 1850, a son of John and Anna Boyer. All his life he followed farming and was very successful. He was a member of Concord Presbyterian church. Forty-eight years ago he was married to Miss Mary Brown, of Canfield, who survives with the following children, Mrs. Angus Kronick, Berlin township, John, Flossie and Clara Boyer at home and Hugh Boyer of Canfield township, also one grandchild, Mrs. Roy Blott of Ellsworth. Funeral services in the Ellsworth Presbyterian church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 in charge of Rev. G. E. Brown. Interment in the Ellsworth cemetery."
