Mrs. Elizabeth M. Boyer, 67, Canfield-Ellsworth Road, died of complications Saturday morning in the home of a niece, Mrs. Ira Keslar, Ellsworth following a two-month illness. Born in Jackson township, February 28, 1895, she was a daughter of John and Elizabeth Teacher Schafer, and was a life resident of the locality. She was a member of the Canfield United Presbyterian church. On Sept. 11, 1924, she was married to Hugh N. Boyer. He died in 1949. Survivors include a sister, Miss Anna L. Schafer of Ellsworth, and a brother, Arthur Schafer of Poland. Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Charles F. Fulcomer, were held Monday afternoon at the Arbaugh-Pearce Funeral Home, Salem, and burial made in the Ellsworth cemetery.
