Private services for Burton H. Sears, 58, of 114 N. Knollwood dr., Wheaton, were held yesterday. Mr. Sears, who died Wednesday, was president of Sears Ayer, Inc., radio station representatives in the La Salle Wacker building. His widow, Virginia; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Stout; and a granddaughter survive.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter R. Freytag of 304 South Ridgeland announce the marriage of their daughter, Virginia Margaret, to Burton H. Sears, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.T. Sears of 542 South Elmwood, on Saturday, September 3, at the Fourth Presbyterian Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Sears are on their wedding trip going east for four weeks to New York and thru Canada. The will be at home after October 15 at 940 Pleasant.
Miss Freytag and Mr. Sears are both graduates of Oak Park high school. Mr. Sears studied at the University of Illinois, where he is a member of Alpha Chi Rho fraternity. He is in business with his father, The A.T. Sears and Son Advertising and Publishing Co. of Chicago.
