Sudden Death Is Due to Heart Trouble
Mrs. Lizzie Hosmer, sixty-one years and wife of William Hosmer, died suddenly this morning at her home in the Y.M.C.A. building on Main street. Death was due to heart disease. Mrs. Hosmer was able to be about her home last night, although she had been under a physician’s care for nearly a week. She was born in Wilson and had lived in the Tonawandas for the last thirty-two years. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Arthur A. Kent of Buffalo and Mrs. Joseph a Burke of Lockport; two sons, Marvin Hosmer of Detroit and Howard Hosmer of New York; three grandchildren and two brothers, Henry and Frank Johnson of Wilson. Mrs. Hosmer was a member of Empire Review, Ladies of the Maccabees, for the past twenty years. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30? o’clock at the late residence and at 3 o’clock from the church at North Ridge, where burial will take place. Rev. Charles H. Bloom of the Paybe Avenue Church of Christ will conduct the services.
