Funeral Services Tomorrow Body Will Be Cremated at Sacramento
Mrs. Cora Sauer, wife of George Sauer, died at the family residence 344 Chestnut street, yesterday afternoon, following a recent nervous collapse. Funeral services will be held at 344 Chestnut street tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, and the remains will be shipped to Sacramento tomorrow night for cremation.
Mrs. Sauer was 49 years old. She was born in Glendale and had lived in this vicinity all her life.
Deceased was an active member of the local Rebekah chapter, Eastern Star lodge and the Women’s Relief Corps, and the members of these organizations will attend the services tomorrow.
Mrs. Sauer is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Leita Tippetts, wife of Deputy County Clerk S.R. Tippetts; her mother, Mrs. Martha Humphrey; a brother, William Ferguson and a niece, Mrs. William S. Wilson, all of Reno.

Many Are Present At Funeral of Mrs. Sauer
Impressive Services Held at Family Home: Lodges Attend
Hundreds of friends of Mrs. Cora Sauer, wife of George Sauer, who died Sunday night following a short illness, gathered at the family home this afternoon to attend the funeral services. The casket, containing the remains of this well known Reno resident, was banked with beautiful floral pieces and the room occupied by the casket was filled with flowers.
Rev. Samuel Unsworth of Trinity Church conducted the impressive ceremonies. Members of the Order of Eastern Star Rebekah Lodge of Reno and the Woman’s Relief Corps attended the services in a body. The Musicians’ Union of Reno of which Mrs. Sauer had been a member for several years also attended the services in a body and will escort the remains to the train tonight.
Mrs. Sauer was on of the best known residents of Reno. She was prominent as a musician and her services were in demand in every prominent function. She had many friends in Sparks and the Glendale and Wadsworth district who attended the serves today.
The remains will be shipped tonight to Sacramento where they will be cremated.
