Notes for Eva Lucretia BRADLEY
She was born 26 Sept. 1877 in Indiana to John James Bradley and Cynthia Almira Drake Bradley. She was one of four children I have found so far. She had a sister Grace, who apparently died young, and two brothers, Albert J. Bradley, born in Chicago and Elmer F. Bradley, born in Colorado. As indicated before, she married Paul Austin Jenkins. The article in the Denver Post, 14 October 1903 states:

Two October Weddings of Well-Known Young People
The marriage of Miss Eva L. Bradley and Paul A. Jenkins took place at noon Monday.
The bride wore a modish traveling gown of brown broadcloth with a large white hat and carried bride’s roses. Miss Ada Frye, a sister of the bridegroom officiated as honor maid. She was gowned in gray silk and wore a picture hat in harmonizing tones.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. David Utter at his residence at 1447 Pearl Street. Only immediate relatives were present. The young people were the recipients of numerous gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins left this afternoon for Colorado Springs where they will spend their honeymoon. They will be at home in Denver at 1369 Evans street after Oct. 18. The bride is the only daughter of J.J. Bradley, formerly state representative.

Pauline Evelyne Jenkins was born to Eva and Paul 6 July 1905 in Denver, Colorado. By 1909 in the directory, I cannot find Paul, and Eva is listed as Jenkins, Mrs. Eva, music teacher, 1254 Acoma. In 1910 she is at the same location teaching music, living with her mother, Cynthia A. Prentiss and her daughter Pauline. There are boarders living there as well.
By 1919 Eva and her mother had moved to Los Angeles, California(?), where Eva married Enoch Aaron Troxel 19 February 1919. They were living at 1716 Micheltorena St. in 1920. Enoch worked in the Post Office as a clerk. Eva inherited two children of Enoch’s from a previous marriage, Harold and Maxine.
In 1930 the family is living at 2334 Laverna Avenue, along with Eva’s mother, Cynthia. Eva died 12 October 1959 in Los Angeles, California.
