Maynard D. Pettit, 59, Plumber, Dies
Maynard D. Pettit, 59, of 356 Young St., Wilson, died Thursday (March 30, 1961) at Mount View Hospital, Lockport. He had been a patient at the hospital for only two days but had been in ill health for about three years.

Mr. Pettit was born Feb. 16, 1902, in Wilson, son of Dayton and Minnie Johnson Pettit, and had lived there all of his life. After being employed at Bell Aircraft Corp. for about 13 years, he had worked as a self-employed plumber for two years before becoming ill. He was a member of Ontario Lodge 376 F&AM, Wilson, and a trustee of the First Baptist Church in Wilson.

Surviving are his wife, Marion Pettit; two sons, Maynard and Richard, both of Wilson; a brother, Ora Pettit of Wilson; and a sister, Mrs. Clarice Nixon of North Tonawanda.

Friends may call at the Hamilton and Clark Funeral Chapel, Wilson, where services will be held at 2 Saturday aftersoon with the Rev. Mason Smith officiating. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
