Notes for Heinrich Adolph NIEMEIER
Henry A. Niemeier came to the United States in 1860 on the same barque ship that Ernst and Wilhelm Wehrmeyer took to Baltimore, MD to reach the United States. He traveled with his older sister Elise (Christina Elisabeth) age 18 and younger brother, Herman, age 9. The boat left from Bremen. He settled in Evansville in 1864. He died at the home of his niece, Mrs. Henry Schroer.

Funeral services for Henry A. Niemeier, 81, who died Tuesday, will be held at the home of a niece, Mrs. Henry Schroer, 2015 E. Virginia st, at 2 p.m. Thursday, REv. E.E. Fischbach officiating. Burial will be in Locust Hill cemetery
