Tom Jones Parry Dies of Heart Attack
Tom Jones Parry, 61, advertising-agency executive and magazine writer, collapsed and died of a heart attack yesterday while speaking at a luncheon business meeting.

Mr. Parry, for many years with the Western Advertising Agency, recently had formed a partnership with Howard Ryan as the Ryan & Parry Advertising Agency.

Mr. Parry was born here, the son of the late Will H. Parry, former member of the Federal Trade Commission and one-time city editor of The Post Intelligencer. He was graduated from Washington State College in 1917.

In the early 1940’s Mr. Parry was a member of the University of Washington faculty in the business administration department. He was a past president of the Advertising and Sales Club of Seattle and a member of the Washington State Press Club.

During the Wallgren administration, Mr. Parry was a member of the Washington State Tuberculosis Hospital Commission.

Mr. Parry lived at the Senator Apartments.

Surviving are two sons, Tom Parry, former football captain at Washington State College, now high school coach at Clarkston, Austin County, and Will Parry, Seattle; a sister, Mrs. Jane David, Herndon, Va., and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 1 o’clock Monday in the Bleitz Funeral chapel.
