Obituaries

Florence Weidner
Mrs. Florence E. Weidner, 83, of 512 Jefferson Ave., LaPorte, died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at the LaPorte Hospital.
She was born July 21, 1891 in Chicago to George and Anna Johnstone.
She was married June 23, 1911 in LaPorte to Frank S. Weidner who died Nov. 12, 1962.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary; VFW Auxiliary; Orient Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star; Senior Citizens and Rose Rebekah Lodge No. 408.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert Fanselow of LaPorte, Mrs. Herbert Bachmann of Blue Island, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Young of Chesterton, Ind. and Mrs. Marie Doming [sic] of Holland, Mich. Her husband, two sons, and two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Haverstock Funeral Home with Msgr. John C. Witte officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday until the hour of services.
