Death Takes Mrs. May Byerly Today
Mrs. May Byerly, 510 West First street, died this morning at the Maple Grove Annex after an illness of six weeks. She was born September 16, 1866 in Kentucky, the daughter of John Wesley and Hannah French Hogan. Her age was 85 years, and 16 days.
She married Monroe Willard and after his passing to James Posey; after his death to John Byerly, who is also deceased.
Surviving are two children, Minnie Bradbury, Harrisburg and Roscoe Willard, Mount Carmel; one brother, Sam Hogan, Benton; six grandchildren. Four brothers, Frank, Leonard, Bonnie, Iscam and one sister, Jeanette, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Byerly was removed to the Roy D. Short Company Funeral Home. Arrangements for the services are pending.
