Rev. O.C. Thusius
Delavan, Wis. – Services for the Rev. O.C. Thusius, 62, former Delavan Lutheran church pastor, who died Sunday in a Wisconsin Rapids hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Luke’s Lutheran church, Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be in Wisconsin Rapids.
The Rev. Mr. Thusius was pastor of Our Redeemer church in Delavan for 29 years, beginning in 1929. He also served pastorates in Canada and LaVelle, Wis., before coming to Delavan and he served in Sharon and Darien parishes.
He married Betty Krohn May 6, 1922.
Surviving are his widow and three sons.

Re. Thusius Dies; Former Area Pastor
Delevan, Wis. – Re. O. C. Thusius, former Lutheran pastor in Walworth county, died Sunday in a Wisconsin Rapids hospital.
The Rev. Mr. Thusius had served Our Redeemer Lutheran church, Delavan, from 1929 until two years ago when he resigned because of ill health. He also served missions in Darien and Sharon until they obtained full-time pastors.
The pastor organized the Walther League in Delavan. A new church building was erected two years after he arrived and a new parsonage was built in 1939.
Surviving are the widow; three sons Carl, Delavan; Delow, Kalamazoo, Mich.; Norman, Wisconsin Rapids; and two grandchildren.
Arrangement are incomplete.
