Mrs. Tomamichel Taken By Death

Mrs. Louise Tomamichel, a resident of Reno for more than thirty years, died this morning at her home on Washington street, where she had lived since 1905. Her health had been failing for several months.

Born in Germany seventy-six years ago, she came to the United States when she was twenty-one years old, and moved to Reno with her husband more that thirty years ago. Her husband Thomas Tomamichel, owned the William Tell House in Reno for many years. He died September 1929.

Surviving are a son and two daughters, Thomas Tomamichel of Sparks, Mrs. Mary Kester and Mrs. Edna VanTassel of Reno; eight grandchildren, Edwin and Bertrand Givans of Salt Lake, Harold and William VanTassel of Reno, Ensign Jack Tomamichel of the United States navy, Wilma, Fritz and Robert Tomamichel of Reno, and a great grandson, Tommie Givans of Salt Lake City.

The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at two o’clock from the Ross-Burke home chapel and burial will be in Hillside cemetery.

Aged Reno Woman Is Summoned Here

Following several month of failing health Mrs. Louise W. Tomamichel, 76, widely known Reno resident, died yesterday at the Washington street home. She was the wife of the late Thomas Tomamichel, who owned the William Tell House in this city for many years.

She was a native of Germany but came to this country when a young woman. For more than 30 years she had made her home in Reno.

She was the mother of Thomas Tomamichel of Sparks, Mrs. Mary Kester, Mrs. Edna VanTassel of Reno; grandmother of Edwin and Bertrand Givans of Salt Lake City, Harold and William VanTassel of Reno, and great grandmother of Tommie Givans of Salt Lake City.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ross-Burke company home chapel, Re. Bayard H. Jones officiating. Interment will be in Hillside cemetery.
